9/11 Memorial Ceremony to Be Held at Saint Francis

Saint Francis Medical Center and the Mission Integration Committee will host a time of remembrance and prayer for peace in the Healing Garden at Saint Francis Medical Center Friday, September 11, at 9 am, to remember those lost on September 11, 2001, and honor those who survived.

This is a day of national significance – impacting people in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania – but 9/11 also impacted the local community, touching lives in Southeast Missouri.

This year's event will focus on the necessity of peace in our lives – at home and in the community.

The brief program will include prayers for peace and the presentation of the American flag.

Prominent local leaders and area clergy will lead the ceremony.
