Saint Francis Healthcare System offers a comprehensive, high-quality total rewards, for all eligible colleagues and qualified dependents.

Eligibility

Full-Time and Part-Time colleagues working at least 24 hours per week will have access to our Total Rewards Package as outlined below. Colleagues working 16-24 hours per week are eligible for certain elements of the Total Rewards Package, namely – vision, LTD, STD, basic life with AD&D, voluntary life and critical illness.

Medical and Prescription Drug Insurance

Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following date of hire with several plans to choose from.

Dental Insurance

Saint Francis offers dental insurance with two plan options. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following date of hire.

Vision Insurance

Saint Francis offers vision insurance. Eligibility begins on the first day of the month following date of hire.

Life Insurance

Saint Francis provides every full-time and part-time colleague a life insurance policy at no cost. Colleagues also have the option to purchase additional life insurance.

Short-Term and Long-Term Disability

Saint Francis provides financial protection against loss of your income due to a non-occupational disability, sickness or injury that prevents a colleague from working and earning income.

Flexible Spending Account

Voluntary pre-tax savings over the calendar year for medical expenses not covered by insurance.

Dependent Care Spending Account

Voluntary pre-tax savings through the calendar year for childcare.

Retirement Savings Plan

Saint Francis participates in a tax advantaged 403(b) retirement plan with Empower Retirement with immediate Employer matching, subject to a three-year vesting schedule. Eligibility begins at date of hire.

Earned Time Off (ETO)

Full-time and part-time colleagues accrue earned time off (ETO) based on hours worked.

Saint Francis offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential resource available to all colleagues and their immediate family members. Earned Wage Access

Education Assistance

Tuition reimbursement is available for part- and full-time colleagues pursuing degrees in fields needed by the Healthcare System ($5,000 limit per year for one year of service after graduation).

Fifty (50) Percent Off Healthcare Services

When colleagues utilize a provider or service within our Healthcare System, Saint Francis colleagues (including employed physicians and advanced practice providers), spouses and dependents under age 26 receive a 50 percent discount on the remaining balance after insurance pays for services provided through Saint Francis Healthcare System. Colleagues do not have to be enrolled in Saint Francis’ employee health insurance to receive the discount.
