Friends Share Days

The Friends of Saint Francis and area businesses partner each month to offer Share Days. A portion of proceeds from sales at a spotlighted business benefits Saint Francis Healthcare System patients and their families.

Live Nativity

Friday, December 13

Live Nativity

Did you know that St. Francis of Assisi staged the very first Nativity scene in 1223? After visiting the actual birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem, he returned home to Greccio, Italy and requested permission from Pope Honorius III to recreate the scene so that more could understand how it all began.

Saint Francis Healthcare System will recreate the scene of Jesus’ birth with its annual outdoor Live Nativity. Come and experience the true reason for the season! Invite your neighbors, friends and family to follow the Star of Bethlehem to the Saint Francis Cancer Institute (Entrance 6 – view map) and witness this truly special event.
