Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament

The Friends Golf Tournament is an annual four-person scramble with proceeds benefiting community efforts to feed hungry children in our area.

The Friends of Saint Francis is a support organization for Saint Francis Foundation.

The 2023 Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament was held on August 18 at the world-class Dalhousie Golf Club. The turnout for this four-person scramble included more than 200 golfers and nearly 40 volunteers. More than $160,000 was raised this year for community efforts to feed hungry children both regionally and locally with donations to food banks and feeding programs including Clearwater Ministerial Alliance, Charleston Blue Jay Pantry, Sikeston Bulldog Pantry, Tiger Bites Summer Feeding Program, Jefferson Backpack Program, Jackson R-2 Power Packs and more.

The 2020 Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament was held on August 14, 2020, at the world-class Dalhousie Golf Club. The turnout for this four-person scramble included 160 golfers and 35 volunteers. More than $110,000 was raised this year for community efforts to feed hungry children in the area. These efforts cover the costs for the Summer Tiger Bites Feeding Program, which provides groceries to Jefferson Elementary School families, and the backpack program during the school year.

Nearly 200 golfers and 48 volunteers turned out for the 2019 Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament on August 16. A total of $155,000 was raised this year for community efforts to feed hungry children in the area.

The tournament was located for the first time at the world-class Dalhousie Golf Club. The 4-person scramble featured skins, mulligans, hole-in-one prizes and other enhancers.
