Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to welcome Matthew Brandt, MBA, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Brandt joins Saint Francis from HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Ill., where he served as Director of Finance/CFO for almost five years. He brings nearly 20 years of financial experience and more than 15 years of healthcare finance experience to the Healthcare System.
As CFO, Brandt will oversee the Healthcare System’s overall financial plans and policies and direct its accounting practices.
“We are excited to welcome Matthew to the Executive Team at Saint Francis,” said Justin Davison, President and Chief Executive Officer. “As the new Chief Financial Officer, he will help drive strategy, enhance stewardship and support the overall Ministry as we deliver care to our patients.”
Brandt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. His economics and political science educational background supports a strong interest in financial analysis and systems that drive strategy to achieve objectives.
