Community Input Needed on Health Care Needs of Southeast Missourians

Saint Francis Healthcare System, Mercy Southeast and a multitude of organizations are working together to survey Southeast Missouri on health issues, challenges and needs they face in care and treatment. Everyone living in Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, New Madrid, Scott, Stoddard and Wayne counties are encouraged to participate in the Southeast Missouri Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).

The needs assessment process reflects the mission of Saint Francis Healthcare System and Mercy Southeast to provide high quality compassionate care to the communities each serves. CHNA data is collected every three years to inform strategies by each health system and other local community agencies to address our region’s most critical health and social needs.

The anonymous online survey contains questions about health challenges, access to care and socioeconomic factors, including financial status, living conditions and social support networks. Results will be used to develop programs in Community Health Improvement Plans. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available through Oct. 15, 2024. Everyone in our community is encouraged to complete the survey. To access the online survey, follow this link or scan the QR code below:
