Mirza Joins Cape Cardiology Group

Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to announce Rubina A. Mirza, MD, has joined Cape Cardiology Group, a Saint Francis Medical Partner, as an interventional cardiologist. Mirza will primarily see patients at Saint Francis Clinic Dexter and Piedmont Physician Associates.

Mirza earned her medical education from Baqai Medical College and Karachi University in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed residencies at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., and University of Illinois – Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill. She completed fellowships at Michigan State University – Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Baptist East Hospital in Knoxville, Tenn. Mirza has 18 years of experience as an interventional cardiologist. She finds interventional cardiology intellectually satisfying and takes special interest in heart disease in women.
