Samuel J. Spencer, MBA, LSSBB
Saint Francis Healthcare System is proud to welcome Samuel J. Spencer, MBA, LSSBB, as Senior Vice President of Operations.
Spencer joined Saint Francis Health System in August 2024 and brings a wealth of experience in healthcare leadership with more than 15 years of fostering team empowerment and advancing excellence in patient care. Prior to joining Saint Francis, Spencer served as the Vice President of Operations at Mercy Hospital Springfield Communities in Springfield, Missouri, where he oversaw strategic development and the performance of medical center and clinic operations.
Spencer will oversee and support Saint Francis Medical Center strategy and operations with focus on Primary Care, Medical Specialty, Surgical Specialty and Support Services Divisions.
“He will play a critical role in shaping our healthcare system’s future, focusing on operational excellence, strategic growth and the continued delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.” said Justin Davison, president and chief executive officer.
He earned a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Baylor University in Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah.
