Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to announce the return of Debby Sprandel, RN, BSN, MSN, MBA-HA, as Chief Nursing Officer, effective February 7.
As Chief Nursing Officer, Sprandel’s responsibilities include all inpatient nursing departments, including Critical Care Services, Emergency and Trauma Services, Maternal Child Health, Medical and Surgical Floors, Perioperative/Surgical Services, Transfer Center, Performance Improvement and Case Management. In addition, she is responsible for nursing care in all outpatient departments, including Saint Francis Medical Partner clinics.
Sprandel joined Saint Francis in 1984, and served in many roles across the Healthcare System, including Registered Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Nursing Director, Service Line Director, Executive Director and Vice President of Ambulatory Nursing.
Sprandel earned her nursing diploma from Lutheran School of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Webster University, Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University—Edwardsville and Master of Business Administration with a healthcare emphasis from William Woods University.
